So, I have the un-edited old Wario voice clips meant for Wario Land 4 from the recent Nintendo leak this year. I was wondering if it would be possible to put these back into the game? In the retail version of WL4, You'll notice how his voice is ran through filters and reverb, usually making him kind of hard to hear. I just thought this would be interesting if I could find a way to change it to how it was originally going to be to begin with. They were included in the WL4 directory under the folder "old". I won't link these just because I don't want to risk getting a warning for distributing them, I was just wondering if there's any way I can import this. I tried Audacity, but I can't export the raw audio back as a ROM.

The GBA has something of a wave playback option (not quite as nice as the DS but still something). If it uses that then audacity should be able to export raw PCM somewhere (or at least something you can strip it back out from) and inject that. I don't know if the above means you found the samples in the base game already but that would be a good start.

For the GBA then Nintendo did provide a format, colloquially known as sappy

Presumably going to be channel 3 you get to watch. You might need to set a breakpoint (no$gba debug is good for this, https://www.romhacking.net/documents/361/ is for an older debug emulator but if you can convert the process over here then you should be good) for something talking to that, or for something that yields a sound and then talks to that, as well as where it is in the ROM.

Got Sappy2006 to work, Having trouble extracting the samples, let alone importing samples. Whenever I try to extract them, it tells me that it needs a "full file pattern" and no matter what I name it, it won't export.
