Hardware Replacing circlepad?

So Ive had this problem for 1 month.. and i need to replace my circlepad. (o3ds xl)
my pad just keeps going downwards even I just flick it down.
And doesnt react correct. are these just 2 parts i need? http://imgur.com/a/VQS5G

Make sure it comes with the little black or white circle that goes on the black part with the nub. If you do t have that part and yours is damaged, your circle pad will not work.

All 3DSes use the same Circle Pad btw. The main difference is how the cable is bent to fit into the socket. The XL wraps over itself, so good luck in advance.

Update.
So I have 2 3ds to fix by myself, But company only have 1 part set.
And theres nintendo AS center just 1h from my house.
Would telling em dont update the 3ds and fix it?
I could watch it right next to it tho

Nintendo WILL update your system. And they will probably not let you watch them repairing it

They won't let you watch them. Also, most of the time. There repair shops aren't actually carried out by Nintendo themselves. They tend to use 3rd party companies for repairs. Well they do in the u.k at least.

I went all the way down with train to go to 3rd party.
They literally said no parts
and I came back for no reason
Rip money..

If you're going to buy a new one anyway, try with contact cleaner in the sliding electrical part...
