Hacking Removing #001 error without extracting main.dol?

Hi, I got a problem with a game iso, more specifically Dead Rising. Every time I use trucha signer to open the iso, it takes a really really long time and it lags my computer. When it is finally opened, I cannot extract anything or replace the main.dol at all. So I can't use the Generic Wii patcher to remove the #001 error. I tried using WiiFrii but that doesn't remove it either. So anyone got any ideas?

I'm using a NTSC 3.2J Wii.

Try updating to cIOS rev8 or rev9.
