Linspire is fail for being like Windows.

Linux is NOT Windows.

In terminal:
CODE./WiiFrii

Switch back to Windows.

EDIT: At linspire.com it says "Buy Now"
...buy now? Buy?
http://www.ubuntu.com/

And real men press Ctrl+Alt+F1

ya buy!!! HaHaHa thats funny i dont think i payed for any OS other than the one that came with the computer. torrents are the best

its close to windows so the wife dont have to do command prompt stuff to much. I like a challenge but she just wants point and click...

bunch of elitist swines piss off. if the geezer wants to use linspire then that's his bag.

i personally wouldn't touch it with a barge pole though. fedora ftw.

fist off im not a geezer im only 28. and it is ,so far the only linux distro i have that has gotten no complaints from the wife and i realy like the linux feel and how its, well for the most part, free to use. I want to use the other more command based versions but im the "computer geek" and dont mind fighting with things to see how they work.

Thank you for all the help but if its going to be an issue because you are all seasoned linux users than ill take this topic else where.

im just tryin to use a OS i want to learn and use but allowing her to keep the feel that shes used to....

And don't pirate an OS.
Get something like http://kubuntu.com/ or http://opensuse.com/ if you want a Windows-like environment.

tried kubuntu ubuntu and it was ok
never heard of opensuse im gona have to look that up.

thank you

13?
stay young as long as you can have the best time of your life...

Less bitching about OS, more helping.

Try to use WINE, maybe the software can work there.
