Hardware Remove parental control from Wii U?

Hello,

I bought a second hand Wii U on ebay but there is a parental control code and the seller doesn't know the code/mail address.

Anyway to remove this code?

that didn't work on my wii's so it would be really dumb for nintendo if it would work on wiiu

Oh, that's actually really good to know, thanks! I guess that's to prevent kids from bypassing it themselves??

If you have the homebrew channel on your vWii you can get the parental pin with this
InspectMii - See dozens of your Wii's settings

If you can still get into the Parental Controls settings, just tap I Forgot twice and you'll get a number you can tell to Nintendo to reset it.

I realized after posting; however, if nothing else works, it's basically the guaranteed method.

I can't start the Wii Channel without the code :/

I guess I have to contact nintendo

If all else fails there is always the gut swap method, but that is a PIA.

Why did someone block the Wii channel? Kids want to play Wii games too.
