Hardware Remove a game update ?

I want to dump my Smash bros & MK8 games but I want to remove the downloaded updates before dumping.

Can I remove the update only from the Wii U settings? without remove the savefile?

Yes, you can remove the Update File, but remember! when you delete Update File, you cant use you save and you DLC!
But you save is safe! via System Settings (if you not are sure, copy you files in a usb, and delete update and dlc) The Save is not really necessary to delete.
