Hardware Remove 3DS Aluminum Case

Hi, I purchased this case: Blue 3DS Case
And I put it on my 3ds and I'm not really liking it. I want to take it off but I can't get it to snap off. I don't want to use too much force. Any ideas on how to remove it?

Place it in a bowl of warm water (heated to at least 26°C). The aluminium will expand slightly, thus facilitating easy removal of the case from the 3DS.

If you can separate the hinge then you can proceed with taking the top section off. The 3DS shell is relatively scratch resistant (compared to the PSP/PS3) so you should be able to remove the case without scratching up your 3DS. Find some soft plastic to help pry the system out.
