Used a installer from this topic, to install this.. the readme didn't suffice.

sunshell string ? 69 out of frame buffer bounds
I get this error now..
My video was 400x240 same as my other videos that work in the camera app.
Somehow this res isn't working?

I find it weird, because I enter the video folder, while I haven't actually selected a video, so why crash before selecting a video.
Anyway what resolution is supported, then..?

Any resolution which match 3ds screens.
On vid2jpgv you have to put (AS vid2jpgv SAYS) HEIGHTxWIDTH as resolution, not WIDTHxHEIGHT.

This was the problem.
Video starts now.

New problem though.

After seeing 3 seconds of the video it freezes/hangs...

I choose HQ video, FPS 30, Sample rate 44100, 2 Channels, PCM 16..
What could possible be the issue here?

I suggest you to use (for a better compression) 24000 as samplerate and Vorbis as audiocodec.

I tried it and it worked!
is fps 30 fine? or should one use 24? Does that matter much?
Is there way to skip ahead in the video yet?

EDIT:
Got a looping/freezing audio version after 1 minute of playback.
Video plays still fine though..
Also upon re-opening sometimes I get an 184 error OGG I believe. (not sure if I remember the info correctly) and sometimes it opens fine. And sometimes just freezes lol...

EDIT2:
Video plays longer then last time. But without any way of seeking/skipping in video I dare not watch my anime like this.

Noticed something stranges, I put in my headphones on my new3ds. and the video disappeared.. sound still working.
Error String? 72 attempt to index a nil value (field ? )

Tried again, and it happens again, can reproduce it, doesn't seem accident.

I know it is not polite to do so but I created an account in order to be able to ask a question here, despite the development pause.

I discovered this seemingly great programm and immediately wanted to try it. But sadly, the "homebrew launcher" doesn't seem to recognize it: it stops the listing right where sunshell should appear. I created the folder in the 3DS directory, and placed the 3dsx file with the same name inside, along all the needed files (since I let the default directory, "3DS/Sunshell/", in the configuration file who is located at the root of the memory card.

I would greatly appreciate any help from this forum's population.

Again, my excuses. And thank you in advance.

So when I try to install cia's they are all called the same, I have no idea which is which. When I actually install it everything freezes so I have to restart (I left it an hour). Then the green button on the menu freezes and I have to restart.

Also the screen flashes a lot...

Any solutions?

You can only install CIAs from the CIA build.
