has anyone solved the "SRB2.wad not found!" issue???

You need to download it from the links provided on the README of the project. Also, you can download the windows version, install it and obtain it.

Did you tried to unpack the file srb2.pk3 from the windows installer and change the extension? Is a compressed file with assets and I remember that the WAD files of Doom are also for resources and mods.

I tried to open the other asset files but I can't.

I do not have the 3DS with me, I would like to try it so bad!

Yep, it works great!

Just unpack all the assets of the version that derreck put on the README of the project. Follow the instructions and put everything on /3ds/srb2_3ds/

You do not have to rename any file to WAD.

Hi, I tried the port with the last version of the game that is in the archived versions section of the main website.

I would add on the instructions of the README the following steps:
Download the file SRB2-v2125-x64-Installer.exe that you can find on the Archived SRB2 Versions of the SRB2 homesite (the last one just before the soundtrack files. Sorry, I am unable to post links...)
Unpack it with 7z or Winrar to a temporary folder.
Copy all the Dta and Srb files (all the files with the exception of the exe and txt) to the /3ds/srb2_3ds/

The wad files are the DTA and SRB files.

If you have an SRB2.pk3:
You downloaded SRB2 version 2.2. This port is only for version 2.1, it seems to be based on 2.1.22. The required files can be downloaded here and here.

It would be nice if there was a 2.2 update, or at least 2.1.25 since I understand 2.2 changed a lot.
Edit: just got around to playing SRB2 2.2 on Switch, and yeah, there's probably never going to be a n3DS port. If some levels already run at around 8 fps on the Switch, they're not going to work on a 3DS.

I keep getting this screen everytime I try to open SRB2 on my 3DS. What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

Hey all, new face here.

Just wondering if this works with the most recent version as of May 2020. If so, how do I get started downloading it?

Many thanks,
DripDrop

Just wondering if this works with the most recent version as of May 2020 (v2.2.4). If so, how would I start the process of getting it running on my 3DS?

Many thanks,

I was really excited until I read that it's only for the New version of 3DS, it's a shame... but I still found it quite impressive.

What's the performance like on O3DS? if it's anything better than unplayable i might give it a try and report.
Oh and don't tell me to go buy a N3DS. You can buy and send me one if they're so cheap.
