I think the button is grayed when the instant save/load is not supported by the game/engine, so it's maybe a scummvm thing : https://goo.gl/3BYrcJ
Could you impliment a feature for me? the ability to have saves and games stored in the games savedata folder (ux0:/user/00/savedata/vscu00001/ folder so its games and things can be gotten by CMA i spent several hours altering it myself but i cannot get it to compile (unaltered as well)

Hello,

I am having trouble finding the .vpk file in the download from the first post.

I'm either being very stupid or it's just not there.

Can someone help?

Thanks

That file only is a vpk... (It's right that vpk files can be opend with a archive program since they are just not-compressed zip files. Probably you used a browers that automaticly unzips zip-downloads [I think Safari does it as default setting])

Well, for some reason, inside vitashell 1.51 or MolecularShell 1.4something, it is reading the scummvm download as a zip. So, unlike other .vpk that you click on then it installs, instead it is just opening the folder/zip/vpk up and showing what's inside it. Actually on the psvita when trying to install it.

Is this something I've done wrong here, or maybe it's something to do with the scummvm install .vpk and the updated vitashells?

I don't know, I'm stuck.

I have some trouble with the analog stick mouse pointer movement. It seems as if the mouse pointer tends to stop and "get stuck" whenever I move the analog stick all the way into one direction. It makes for a very jerky and extremely frustrating and unreliable mouse pointer movement.

The same problem happens (or used to happen, I haven't tested the latest Android build) in the Android version of ScummVM, but it is not happening in the PSP version.

I suspect there is some bug or problem in the ScummVM source with the conversion of analog axis values to mouse pointer movements, but it is hard to tell. It is weird because the mouse pointer does not always stop. Just sometimes.

Hi :)
Yes i have spent some time in the past on this problem without any success. I'm actually updating to latest sdk/libs and merged changes since last time I checked. I also have to port libflac again as I forgot to upload sources and loss them :) I should be done soon and may take another look.

I fixed that problem with the analog joystick. @cpasjuste I made a pull request to your repo just now.

I made another improvement, which makes fullscreen mode look _much_ better if you turn filtering and 2x on. Pull request to Cpasjuste made.

The release vpk is here:
www.github.com/rsn8887/scummvm/releases

CHANGELOG (of this modded version):

1.02

  • much better gfx quality in fullscreen mode: turning gfx filtering on now works as expected, and "2x+fullscreen+filtering on" looks amazingly good now, because of the integer prescale it acts like a sharp-bilinear filter (new default)

Great stuff thanks.

I had a problem with the GUI.
The menu looked like VGA which made it go green etc.
Randomly changes back to the green on it's own.

Also game list does not save so clears after restart.

Is there a config file that keeps settings as I cannot find one.

I improved the analog pointer some more. Some games like Dreamweb still had a jerky mousepointer. I fixed that and also increased the smoothness and speed resolution the analog pointer.

The release vpk is here:
www.github.com/rsn8887/scummvm/releases

CHANGELOG (of this modded version):

1.04

  • More fixes to jerky analog joystick pointer for some engines such as Dreamweb that the previous fix did not apply to
1.03

  • SDL: smoother analog pointer motion

BTW I forgot to mention: With my latest release at
www.github.com/rsn8887/scummvm/releases

to get the new beautiful fullscreen mode, you have to make sure to set the graphics to "2x," set "fullscreen ON," and "graphics filtering ON", and then also quit and RESTART the app. The options are not all applied unless you restart after changing them. Fullscreen mode is beautiful now. Those three options combine to give the effect of the sharp-bilinear-simple filter just as in uae4all2, even though ScummVM doesn't support shaders.
