Was just curious, what is the source of the music? Will it contain the fuzziness of GBA sound quality? Anyway the point I'm getting at is that I remastered both gen 3 soundtracks, so if you're interested I could link you to them.
It's just GBA sounds converted to bcstm
Yes i'm curious, could you send me them?

Dude... Are you serious? We were waiting for long in order to download the game again and you just respond to a guy in order of adding more music to the game?

Please, re-upload the game, some people here are waiting to take a look at it, I actually found the .cia uploaded by someone else, but I need the .3ds version.

Ok guys, this is why I didn't reupload the game until now.
I have my reasons to don't do it for now, as well as you have a reason to be angry (and I can understand).

So here it's a part.
I did the music conversion there is a long tim ago (midi (gba) -> mp3 -> wav -> bcstm).
Quality of the sounds is not best (but can't be called worst, I guess) and the volume is a little low.

What I want do now is redo the whole conversion.
And the only sound backup I have is only .bcstm files, I need to redownload all music from a gba rip somewhere (not the hardest partn I think. But if you know where to download original gba music,s please link me (or in pm)).
The FUC*ING HARDEST part is to identify the musics.

Let's take the sound of Elite 4's room as an exemple.
"What is the name of the music in the gba music package, when names are (for a most part) pkm03.midi ?"
"And what is now the name in the oras sounds folder ?" (Ok, in ORAS, it's a little more easy to identify).

For match them, you should understand that I need to listen EVERY MUSICS in the GBA package and the ORAS sounds folder, to identify what is what, and match them.
And I had absolutely no time to do it until now (A job story), so I will start redoing it, as well, add another cool feature that will take times too (but I will release a new pack after new sounds), then another with the feature.

Now, I'm sorry if you don't understand something (ask me), I'm not good in very long speeches when it's not in my native language.

@Bacalado : Please, read and understand. BTW, remove your backup link, it's illegal here.

I understand your reasons, i'll delete the direct link from here, but can I post the link in a pastebin just like you did, so the rest of the users can play a little?

I'll wait until the next release, thank you for telling to us the reason.

Does anyone know where I can download all original GBA sounds (in MIDI or WAV, I don't care) ?
No remake sounds, no ORAS sounds, originals sounds.

@sniper_x002 about what you sent me, what is this? Original sounds? Remake?

I'll explain.

It is original sounds, but with a higher quality. Basically it is all the sounds exactly how they were in the game, but without the limitations of GBA sound (So no fuzziness).
Listen for yourself.

Original
Improved

@sniper_x002
I try to do it my self and the resultat is very nice :

What do you think?
Sounds nice but did you mean to not use the soundfont (sf2) from the game?

Also if you want, I can go through how exactly I redid the soundtrack, and I can include source files if you wish. The hardest part was determining what tracks are actually tracks (and not scrap/sfx) from the game, and naming them.

Sorry, I don't see what you mean?
All I did is download the MIDI package (here (French Website)) and turn them in WAV using the free version of FL Studio.
I didn't touch any settings.
Open MIDI, and just sav as WAV.

Why not.
And I also found something cool.
Open the midi file in hex and check the very beginning of the file.
Code:
MThd.........xMTrk...u.ÿ.+Pokémon Ruby\Sapphire - Route 101, 102, 103.ÿ..Game Boy Advance.ÿX...
We can identify them more easily before convert to a WAV file.

Okay I'll try to explain. The song you uploaded is the correct tune, but the sounds don't match. You should find a soundfont (.sf2 file) to apply the correct instrument sounds for the midi.

I did it this way in foobar2000, I'll upload the midi + SF2 files in a minute (I'll edit this post)

Edit: Nevermind.. I can't find the files. I'll try re-ripping them but it might take a bit of time.

I'm going to narrate what I'm doing for future reference...

Okay since I don't recall what program I used when I first did it, I'm using this one for now. I'm also going to use a Pokemon emerald rom.

Can't get the GUI version to work so I'm just going to use command prompt.
Code:
GBA-Mus-Ripper-GUI>gba_mus_ripper.exe emerald.gba -o emerald

Alright I got everything. Here's the zip of the midis + soundfont.

Do you want me to also detail how I applied the soundfont to the midis in foobar2000?

Install foobar2k if you don't already have it.
Apply this plugin to it.
Open foobar2000, go to preferences.
In the left thing, find Playback > Input > MIDI synthesizer host and click it.

On the right in "Output" changed "Plug-in:" to BASSMIDI. Next, in the area labeled "BASSMIDI" to the right of it change the "SoundFont:" to the one you got from me. Press OK, and add all the midis to the playlist.

Most of the midis don't have any sound (or aren't music) so good luck finding which ones actually have stuff in it. I'd just sort the playlist by duration.

Also doing this completely through would probably be redundant since this is exactly how I redid the soundtrack, so if you want it this way you could just download what I made (I also have the WAVS from before I converted them to mp3 if you would want that instead).

Can't I just use sf2 file from the sound folder?
(The one ripped useing the tool)

Because I'm ripping Sapphire, not Emerald :/

If you got a sf2 from it too that's fine, sapphire and emerald should have the same soundfont because they are essentially the same game (correct me if I'm wrong).

I only really mentioned the soundfont because the soundcloud link you posted had a song without the proper soundfont.

From what version of emerald you extracted your sf2 file?
I did a comparison in HxD between your sf2, and mine (from an US emerald.gba) and there is some differences.

Not sure what you mean by version (unless you meant region, mine was US), but even though the games are super close you may still be right..

For example, I found that using the kanto (fr/lg) sf2 did NOT work properly with hoenn (r/s/e). Same instuments, but the sounds didn't match up.

On the pastebin link to your downloads, it still says the links will be up soon, and it hasn't been updated sincejune of last year. May I ask where the downloads might be?
