Dbi has "connect to server" menu item. Also you can setup favorite connections in the config. It supports remote http (s) and ftp servers.

Current dbi version is 444 and it does not have own GitHub. It is distributed through Russian forums and torrent trackers.

If I ever get two switches with HB, I ought to try and use DBI's server on one and this client on the other!

Nope, usin' DBI right now (transfering GBA save from 3DS to Switch) and it only does a server.

I did it with sys-ftpd-lite.
Was able to connect just fine. :-)

I’m trying to get past the damn captcha to create an account now.
If we agreed that my Russian is like a baby then my ability to accurately read Cyrillic that’s been warped by a computer is like an amoeba!

I did it! Finally!

DBI-444, here I come!

Works as advertised! :-)

The trick to get it to show up on the menu is to set up the target server in /switch/DBI/config.ini like so:

I went from zero FTP clients this morning to two clients as of this afternoon.

No github?! That's crazy! How would such an awesome app NOT have a better place to keep its source code and releases???

Note, that you do not have to configure each connection in ini. Just enable "network" for main menu and you'll get "Connect to server..."

Hmm. Just found a bug - without any configured connections "Connect to server" is unavailable. Will be fixed in next release.

C1 runs on PC, no? This is a client that runs directly on the Switch.
Haha. Everybody get confused since I made the interface very commander like. To be exact, I made it look like Filezilla FTP Client UI. So easy to have local and remote files on single screen where you can navigate both at the same time.

wow,it is very good application,
I can use this to upload/download my RetroArch save. :D

DBI has FTP client a long time ago.
the DBI/ tinfoil only has the download feature from FTP, but this FTP client has on upload feature from switch, for example, it can use to upload game/retroarch save to ftp. :D

Hello
So I'm trying to get this to work as I'm sick and tired of having to semi-shut down my Switch and take out the SD card etc etc everytime I want to transfer files. I've tried following the guide from cy33hc and have successfully created an FTP server using FileZilla and can connect to this server using FileZilla on the same PC that hosts the server.

I've set up 90 DNS on my Switch and I am now trying to connect to the server and it just gives me error 300 and asks me to re-check my password. I know the password is correct and frankly have no idea what's going on. The most I've ever done previously is run FTPIIU Everywhere for Wii U and connecting to that using Filezilla on my PC.

DBI's MTP... exists. Hekate's Mass Storage... exists.
🤷

This is not 2018 anymore.

I don't know what DBI's MTP is, but if, by Hekate's Mass Storage, you mean UMS, that won't work for me. Using that, I'd still need to physically connect the Switch to my PC using a cable and I want to avoid that entirely. My Switch is on the 1st floor and my PC is on the ground floor, I want to avoid having to take it down stairs every time I want to transfer files, at least for the really small files I currently have in mind.
