That happens when you try to view game info because for some reason the EUR version is missing part of a screenshot which causes the crash. Known bug not yet fixed. If you press X to start installing it, it will work. You just can't view the game description/screenshots.
What region? EUR?

how do i delete the freeshop cache

for some reason it crashes at loading game list that happened after it downloaded new cache

Delete the directory /3ds/data/freeShop/cache/ and launch freeShop again, it will redownload. Let me know if it works.

Can an o3ds user confirm that freeShop still work with latest cache (r41)? Don't have mine to test.

Edit: got confirmation, nevermind.

I doubt that's a cache issue. But can you try deleting the freeShop directory /3ds/data/freeShop/ and launching it again?

i try

is this the folder?

Yes, that's it. Delete it and try running freeShop again. This happened to me when updating freeShop and it fixed the issue.

Would i be able to install the MHXX demo if i dumped my enctitlekeys.bin file from my japanese 3ds and placed it in the "keys" folder on my english 3ds?

if the game is in the cache, and you are running luma3ds or have a region free home menu, then yes you can install it.

We can, but I guess LumaLocaleSwitcher is broken with the nightlies since they changed the location/format of region emulation. People use that for convenience. It's a known issue.
What if I change Luma from nightly back to normal release?
Cheers,

wait, you mean I need to install LumaLocaleSwitcher to get region free?
I thought luma can handle region itself.

Cheers,

Cheers,
If you're using LumaLocaleSwitcher and not using something like code.ips for SuMo.

Or you can change your locale file.
Code:
language emulation txts now go to /luma/titles/<titleid>/locale.txt

i know this isn't for freeshop but can i update my 3ds through the system settings to the newer version of 3DS software and not get rid of my cfw?
