that sucks. I just finished setting up my N3DS with rei and updating it to 9.5
Never even had a chance to fire up smash for online play. Also had to delete my progress since I originally installed it to sysNand with Pasta (dumb move, i know)
Oh well. Guess we will have to wait out for someone to figure a work around.
Here's to progress :grog:

Well, there's no guarantee a workaround is necessary. Someone just has to try installing Sm4sh V1.1.0 update on 9.5FW and see if it runs. I would download on my O3DS and then make a CIA to test, but it is getting late here...

well I have been currently downloading the update for smash ever since my last 2 post (like an hour ago) and I will post if it works or not. However I am barely 75% done and my connection is slow due to my brother playing mass effect 3 online on my wiiu. He is constantly telling me to turn off my connection.

it seems to be working fine. I don't know about the DLC characters since I have not bought them, but it seems to play fine and I even got some mii fighters customs on boot.

What system/FW version are you running this on, if I may ask?

SSB 1.1 works perfectly on N3DS EmuNAND 9.5.

I have a USA N3DS with 9.0sys and 9.5 emu.

For the most part your program works fine.

Have a few games that can't seem to update, expecting because they were cryptofixed.

But what I am here to say is this:

I have Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy + on my GW card, it's the European version. Download updates, but apparently it doesn't apply because it keeps saying it has an update. But when I launch the game with your program loaded (even if you have all the options set to off), you can not access the nub or extra keys in the game. I had to reboot to get them to work in the game. I wonder if this is a problem with any other games, or it's because I'm running a European game on a USA system.

It's not a big deal, but thought I'd report it all the same. Thanks for the program, it's nice to actually go to the eshop on my N3DS.

UPDATE: Checked other games, nub & buttons seem to work fine in them, just appears currently to be this one game and I think it's my only european game I have on my system. Never found the USA version of it.

Well I borked up my Smash install. Could not get the update to install, so ended having to delete the game, 1.0.8 patch, and DLC.
Lost all progress that I had for the 2nd time.

Next time around, how do I go about saving my progress so that I can use it on a new update in the event that I have to uninstall the game?

Backup the save with SaveDataFiler? :)
Or pray to whatever deity you worship that nothing screws up again. :P

I have been looking for this, but its hard to find. From what I gather, this is an official Nin tool. How is that going to work with an installed CIA? Wont in need to connect to the net to verify game IDs and what not?

Nah, it doesn't need internet access or anything like that (I just tested it with wifi off to be certain).

SaveDataFiler displays the list of installed titles, you simply highlight Smash and press Y to export it.
You'll need the game ID to know which save to export, you can find it here.

No, at the moment I'm working on implementing a patch layout, wich allows other people to create patch files, wich could be loaded from the sd-card. Also I'm reworking the menu generation, to make it easier to add new features like ram dumping. But there should be a way using ntr cfw to get it.

Hi guys, do you know why I keep getting this error message while opening the eshop with fmp on N3DS 9.5 EMUnand? In sysnand it works fine..
