Is it alright to make suggestions? Your hands must be full with life and this and your other projects, but there's some features that I think would make this app more awesome:
  1. Possibility to use categories or easier, file browser, that way you can have better organitation:
:/Themes/Videogames/
:/Themes/Movies/
:/Themes/Anime/
etc.

It's really easy to navigate trough your themes when you only have a couple, but it gets difficult when you have dozens.

2. Shuffling Shuffle themes. It sounds weird, but it would be awesome if with just a button your shuffle selection gets randomized.

Anyway, thanks as always, CHMM2 is great as it is already.

I don't have any homebrew software installed on my old 3ds as of right now, and its version has been bumped up to 10.4.0-29U.

From what I've read around on many, many sites and forums, there's absolutely no way for one in my situation to get something like CHMM without a copy of "Cubic Ninja".

Is there any other known way to install and implement custom themes on the 3ds right now?

It doesn't work on my O3DS 10.4 RXTools emunand or my N3DS 10.4 ReiNAND emunand. I don't get an error code of anything, it just doesn't install the theme whenever I try (using HBL cia to open CHMM2).
if it says "MenuHax Mode: ON", then go into menuhax_manager and delete in emunand.

It works cause on Homebrew Starter Kit there is an old CHMM version (probably v.2.1.2 BETA) which doesn't support BGM previews (and doesn't have a lot of features also).
oh, alright. i wonder why the new chmm2 release didn't work on mine? did i miss that it wasn't capable on o3dses? mine's also an XL(gf's is not) but i doubt that effects anything since from what i've seen, the hardware is the same?
maybe one day i should download the newest and attempt to run it on her system to see if there was any genuine difference.

I noticed that in the package there is a 3ds file if i put that on my Gateway card can i launch CHMM right away or must i install the cia first?

question: how can i get shuffle to work in chmm2 (latest version) i did all the normal things it requires but it doesn't say "installing themes or theme loadout" when i go back to base portion of chmm2. am i doing something wrong?

Just installed the cia (n3ds 10.3 emunand) and it freezes upon start. I see the options install theme, preview etc. but cant choose anything.

edit: well it doesnt freeze, I can press the power button and close it. But install or preview theme doesnt work.

Hey! Sorry for the noob question. I'm still on 10.3 (ironhax) because custom themes is one of the things I like about homebrew. If I upgrade to 10.5 with menuhax, will CHMM work?? I don't know if i'm sure to downgrade..

On 10.3 you can access legit cias... Anyway CHMM2 works on every firmware >= 9.0
