Ok thanks. I might try soon.

Edit: Oh sh*t, I didn't realise I double posted! My post above was missing until I posted another one. xD
No, I wasn't even paying attention where my post was.

Would it be possible to implement a "theme profile" setting? Currently I have a lot of themes and it would be handy to save the shuffled themes to a profile so that I can easily choose them again without manually selecting the themes from the theme selector. I have themes currently shuffling on a o3ds 10.3 ironhax 2.5

I've instaled it and put five random themes. But I have a problem, when the song of whatever theme that I have ends it stops. No more song. Why? D:

@Rinnegatamante Why is the single theme cleared out when activating random themes? If you not clear it it would allow to use different themes in sysnand and emunand using linked nands. This will also allow people to use menuhax to autoboot into emunand on linked systems.
Or are there any side effects from this?

You can use a theme mode once. If you use shuffle system, single theme feature is disabled and viceversa.

Yes I know, but if you won't clear the singel theme data when enabling theme shuffle, every firmware without theme shuffle support would sill use it, and every firmware(at least I tested it with 9.0 sys and 9.5 emu) with support will use the random theme data.
I use this on my n3ds system to have autoboot on linked nands, I haven't found any problems with not clearing the singe theme, but i only testet it on my system.

Edit:
these are the code parts im talking about
Code:
savedata = io.open("/SaveData.dat",FWRITE,archive2)
io.write(savedata,0x141B,string.char(1),1)
--io.write(savedata,0x13B8,string.char(0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0),8)
Code:
out = io.open("/ThemeManage.bin",FWRITE,archive)
--io.write(out,0x08,string.char(0,0,0,0),4)
--io.write(out,0x0C,string.char(0,0,0,0),4)

I'm trying to figure out why CHMM2 v2.1.2 stays stuck on a red screen when booted from Homebrew launcher via Browserhax (2.5 boot.3dsx). I have it setup like this:
SD:3DS/CHMM2/CHMM2.3dsx (Nothing else in this directory)

Every other homebrew app works when booted up, just not CHMM2. I'm trying to set a theme in sysnand 9.0, and I have the default red theme enabled currently while trying to boot up CHMM2.

Can I possibly use an older version such as 1.5.1 on browserhax (2.5 boot.3dsx)?

try temporarily setting up menuhax just to see if it works there. it's working for me, using ironhax 2.5 on 10.3.

you could also try updating your boot.3dsx just in case, or use an alternate one (like the grid launcher).

Any help anyone??? how do I reset the theme on my emunand once I boot into rxtools and any cfw it freezes in home menu so i need to reset to into stock theme
I had the same problem, delete the folder located in SD card>Nintendo 3DS>NUMBERS(if you have both sys & emunand, choose the one where you have the problem)>MORE NUMBERS>extdata>00000000>000002cd (for USA Region, it´s 000002ce for EU and 000002cc for JPN).
Delete that folder and you will recover your stock theme, and homemenu won´t freeze.

there's two folders that you should delete.
SD:\Nintendo 3DS\your_id1\your_id2\extdata\00000000\archive
your_id1 can be anything; if there's multiple, try opening each one to see which might be yours. archive will be two folders depending on your region.

Are they called info.smdh and BGM.ogg (for previews)/bgm.bcstm (for use in the theme)?

Hi i am having the same problem as azerti1304
is having, my bgm files won't freaking play with the themes i downloaded today nor does it read the theme that i made custome. For some odd reason it just keeps playing a bgm file that i dont have anymore on my sd card. I don't know why it wont read the other themes bgm at all :( i need help.

Theoretically, would it be possible for CHMM2 to install menuhax on a theme that it installs?

I really want to use CHMM2 but the lack of menuhax means it's just not worth it so I have to do it "manually" with the menuhax homebrew.

I don't know if the access to the menuhax code would be available to activate during a theme install though, that would rule it out I think.

try updating the payload for whatever hax you use (ironfall/oot: get new installer and re-run it).

what are you using to run homebrew?
Thanks for the quick reply.
The payload used to work. I have tried replacing the boot.3dsx but no luck. I will give the installer a try.

I am trying to start the homebrew launcher with Ironhax, Browserhax, and a homebrew launcher .cia. I am trying to run CHMM2 with a gateway card, as an installed .cia, or with the homebrew launcher if I can that to work.

I'm using a EUR New 3DS with 9.5 Gateway Emunand. I have newer NVER, Tiger, CVer installed for the eshop to work, which is something that has changed since it used to work.

I haven't fixed the *hax setup just yet, but I got CHMM2 working via .cia! In the past I had done some SD card and emunand juggling. I needed to change themes once to recreate the extdata to begin with.

Browserhax is probably unable to get the correct payload because of the spoofed firmware version. I reckon it's a similar problem with *hax 2.5's homebrew launcher. I will try more messing with the rop payload another day. For right now I choose between eshop access and the homebrew launcher, where using homebrew as .cia files or .3ds with the Gateway are reasonable options. Plus there are always emunand backups.

Don't know how MenuHax works but probably it could be done. I should investigate and i've not so much time atm. If someone wants to investigate and report me his results, i can work on a compatible version of CHMM2 with MenuHax.

Spent a lot of hours to fix dsp service for audio support and finally i got it work like it should!
