Hacking Official [Release] CakesFW

Quick question, i tried to build my cake but i get this strange error.

python patches/bundle.py patches/emunand/info.json patches/emunand/patches.s build/patches/emunand out/cakes/patches
ARMIPS Assembler v0.7d (May 23 2015 21:39:25) by Kingcom
patches.s(1) fatal error: No architecture specified
Aborting.
Couldn't compile version 0x50 for some reason.
make: *** [build/patches/emunand.baked] Error 1

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need a newer version of armips.

It is safe to use cakesfw 0.99 with the patches disabled to update with sysupdater (last version)?

Thank you all, I was having the same problem
Now that I replaced it with the newer one from the link above, it is telling me:
"The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

I would appreciate the help guys

I just installed A9LH and updated Cakes 108 to 137 on my O3DS.
Upon boot I get Decrypting FIRM, the NCCH and exefs w/o errors, but alter "Loading AGB_FIRM..." it says "Failed to load FIRM".

Under "Version info" it says "NATIVE_FIRM version: 9.6.0".

Anyone knows what's going on?

That's just for AGB_FIRM patching (which I don't think works that way on a N3DS?) - does emuNAND actually start? You should be fine if it starts correctly. Are you still using the 9.6.0 native_firm from before?

Looks like you just need to run those two git config commands with your email and name.

When I deleted everything in the cakes folder and downloaded again this never appeared..
I tried a 3rd version of armips.exe from @d0k3 's github:

And now I'm getting this again:

To clarify:
First version used was armips.exe 0.7d from @capito27 's compiling rxtools thread. Result: Got me same error as picture above
Second version used was from @Februarysn0w a few posts above. Result: Missing DLL file even though it's there, and once copied to same directory as armips.exe, another unknown error
Third version used, from @d0k3 's Github. Result: Same error as picture above

Note that I can compile A9LH, rxTools, AuReinand & ReiNand all fine. This is the only one giving me a problem

Use @Februarysn0w version of armips.exe and to get rid of The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application error you need the 32 bit version of visual c++ 2015 installed.

Haha I don't know how to thank you. Now my setup is complete

Never thought that the 32bit version is what I would need on my 64bit pc!
