The problem of CPU I already decided to further this giving error when trying to convert any other format than BRSTM.

Last edited by Ryumaru,
it says done implying that it worked successfully but the output file is literally on where to be found. i did a search of my entire pc and ran it multiple times. still nothing

I'm getting a "File not converted" error. Default settings in the converter, OS is Win10 32-bit. Input is a 256kbps CBR mp3 file, no spaces in the file path and name.

It says it is only for Windows x32 (at least the 2.0 version, but that's what I need because of the BFSTMs), I downloaded it anyways and when I tried to convert any file it doesn't show up

I'm sorry so many people are having issues with this program on Windows. Maybe I'll update it. In the meanwhile, try converting the file to WAV or FLAC using Audacity, make sure there are no spaces in the path (location + file name) of the file and run the program as administrator.

i keep getting a "cant convert file" error. file is in .wav file format it is 4 mins 10 secs long. Is that 2 long? i dont understand why it wont work

What's the difference between the 2?
Initially, there was no way to convert to BFSTM (Wii U). Then I included soneek's converter, which can convert to both BCSTM (3DS) and BFSTM (Wii U) formats. I decided to keep froggestspirit's BRSTM → BCSTM (3DS) converter as well.
I'm not sure there is any difference, both programs work great.

Also, is it possible to do a bfstm to bcstm conversion?
No, you have to convert it to BRSTM first.

Whenever I try to convert an mp3 to a BRSTM, It always says File not converted
Try converting it to FLAC or WAV first, and make sure the path does not contain spaces (if you're on Windows).
Unfortunately I do not currently have the time to fix these issues :(

I want to report a bug in soneek's BFSTM converter.

The Track Info Reference Table count is in LE instead of BE.

Here's an example:

Does it cause any issues? Anyway, since it's written in PHP, I could try to fix it, though you should report this to soneek ;)

Well, I don't know any BFSTM files (that are not custom) which have Track Info Reference Tables in the first place.
But it could cause some issues in ones which have them.

I made a BFSTM-BCSTM tool thing, which you could check out here, and BFSTMs generated by this tool makes it cry. (because it reads 0x2000000 instead of 0x2, for example)
