I'll add it to the to-do listThe tool worked out well for me, but the volume of the music for me theme is pretty low on the 3ds. Is there any way I can give it a boost?
I know, BRSTM2BCSTM crashes on some systems... and I can't figure out whyWhen ever I try to convert brstm to bcstm the program crashes, please help!
And yes I am on Windows 7
Thank youif anyone can convert a brstm to bcstm with my program, open it in a hex editor. The main differences are just the headers. I'll see if I have the source laying around still
EDIT: I'm sure someone can make heads/tails of this, it's pretty strait forward http://pastebin.com/kfFVPvSB
no problem. All I ask is to be included in credits, or at least a little shoutoutThank you
If you're using the GNU/Linux version, make sure SoX is installed.I've been trying to convert an mp3 to a brstm, but it says that the file was not converted.
Does the .mp3 needs to have something specific so it can convert?
Can't download from brawlcustommusic page because my AV says it has a trojan.
Also, I know its the wrong place to ask, but is there a tutorial of making custom sound effects to a custom theme?

Meanwhile you can use an external tool like Audacity to boost the volume.
If you're using avast, make an exception for it in the settings. Also disable web shield in the Chrome extension if you have it when you visit that website.I've been trying to convert an mp3 to a brstm, but it says that the file was not converted.

In the meantime, you can use Brawlbox to convert the BRSTM file to .WAV. Then edit it with Audacity e.g., save it and convert it back to BRSTM/BCSTM.I hope this function gets added soon, I'm such a noob at Audacity...
Before adding any functionality, I'd like to finish porting BRSTM2BCSTM, but I don't understand how to swap the endianness...I hope this function gets added soon, I'm such a noob at Audacity...
Would the quality of a song go down if it's at 2500 precision and on loop from a 106mb file? Before adding any functionality, I'd like to finish porting BRSTM2BCSTM, but I don't understand how to swap the endianness...
Anyway, it's easy: import your file in Audacity, then use this slider to add some gain:

Finally, export it as FLAC or WAV and convert it using BRSTM/BCSTM Conversion Tool
It depends on the duration of the song.Would the quality of a song go down if it's at 2500 precision and on loop from a 106mb file?
It's about five minutes long, I could trim it.It depends on the duration of the song.
