Pokemon sun/moon, Monster Hunter 4(U)/Gen/X/XX, Smash Bros and Super Mario Maker.OP
Thanks for you ap
It is awesome
BTW
Is there a list of Mode 3 games?
Thanks so much for the infoPokemon sun/moon, Monster Hunter 4(U)/Gen/X/XX, Smash Bros and Super Mario Maker.
I think that's all of them.
N3ds doesn't need mode 3. the n3ds can run extended memory games and ntr fine on its own because of the upgraded hardware on the n3ds. Mode 3 just helps the 03ds run NTR while playing memory extended games because it lacks the hardware to do it on its own. I probably didn't explain it right but I'm terrible at explaining things but basically n3ds doesn't need mode 3.Is the mode 3 support only for the o3ds or will it work on the n3ds (assuming you can find something that uses mode 3 on the n3ds, of course)?

Homebrew already has access to the additional N3DS hardware resources.Well I was thinking that some homebrew might eventually use it on the n3ds for the extra ram, similar to how some psp homebrew can use the extra ram on later psp systems.

The reason why Mode 3 exists is because on the O3DS the system effectively does a reboot when launching extended memory games and most homebrew apps get terminated at this stage. Mode 3 gets past that and allows NTR to continue to function. On the N3DS, extended memory games do not cause a reboot because the RAM is already available and therefore homebrew apps survive in memory by default. This is why Mode 3 is only applicable to the O3DS.
The patch changed, the new command is:
Code:write(0x00105B00, (0x70, 0x47), pid=0x1a)
Update mode 3 to 2.8 you have to update both fyi. If mode 3 doesn't grab the latest update for some reason, you can find it on ops github.hmm idk how to get ntr plugin mode 3 to work i think i on 2.6 and also it keep failing to load 3.4 there a way i can remove this thing and reinstall it to make it sure to work properly? i also have normal ntr plugin 2.8 on my 2ds so i should uninstall that first?
To old3DS users: launching the app before the homemenu is completely loaded may result in a crash / error. So before launching it, wait a couple of seconds for the homemenu to be fully loaded.
Also, when updating the Mode 3 / Normal version you also must update the other one to avoid issues.
Hello, I'm trying to cheat within a game (no mode3) with NTR, but whatever version I choose the game crashes at boot (after the blink green screen) and appear the "Error has occured, turn off power" message. I tried to wait for the menu to be fully loaded, to delete ntr.bin e restart NTR Selector with different versions but all led to the same result. I'm using a O3DS, 11.4.37J emunand, 7.0.5 Luma and NTR Selector 2.8.
What should I do?
Thanks for your time.
^Ask on the cheat plugin's thread since it's not related to BootNTR Selector. Thanks.
I have n3DS with the latest version of LUMA. whenever I try to load NTR it fails, telling me I have an unknown firm. what do? I'm so confused ;-;
