What does this thing do / used for? Trying to understand this but the github wiki has no information

It let's u select your desired NTR that u want to use

What is Mode 3 ?
Mode 3 is a version of BootNTR which will allows you to use NTR on games that use Extended Memory Mode on Old3DS (such as Pokémon Moon/Sun, Monster Hunter Generation...).
To use it, just launch the Mode 3 and when it tells you to press Home, you press Home and launch your game directly, without closing the Selector app.

An important thing to mention is that Mode 3 ONLY works with these games. I tried it with DQVIII and the menu doesn't appear when pressing the hotkeys (X+Y or L+Start).

also in 2.7.2 it asks me for the direction path when I use default it tells the following
Setting up 3.2 done.
Setting up 3.3 done.
Setting up 3.4 done.
Setting up 3.4 done.

Finished.

after that my 3ds just freezes

I wait in either the app as the homemenu

I use a O3ds with Luma cfw, freeshop, FBI, bootntr, BootNTR Mode 3, and few other apps

please help me this time if I need to download something give me a link please.

An important thing to mention is that Mode 3 ONLY works with these games. I tried it with DQVIII and the menu doesn't appear when pressing the hotkeys (X+Y or L+Start).

In the FAQ:

Does Mode 3 replace the Normal version, or do I need both ?
Short answer: no and you need both.
This concerns only the Old3DS's users, not the users of the New3DS.
You need both, because the Mode 3 is only for games using the Extended Memory Mode.
On others games, you need to launch the Normal version just like before.

If you have multiple plugins for multiple games, how do you switch between them? I have two plugins but only one loads, how can I get the other one to load?

You can't really switch between them without moving files around and stuff, some plugins will work together while others won't. You can try putting one of them in the game folder and see if that will make it load both but not sure, which plugins you trying to use?

I just recently got BootNTR Selector came from BootNTR 3.1 and whenever i load up my game a use one or 2 cheats it will freeze after about 5 minutes of gameplay. Game music still sounds but game itself freezes and causes me to hard reboot the 3DS

The lower screen of the 3DS is a resistive touchscreen.

Tap the button representing the desired version you wish to use.
