The problem isnt buying the sd slot, its installing it.
It's a very simple installation too. You pretty much only need a small phillips screw driver.
You basically only have to open the 3ds, remove the screws holding the circle pad and SD slot, unplug the old sd slot, plug the new one, put the circle pad and sd slot screws back, close the 3DS and it's done.

I can't seem to get it working either, though I'm not sure if that's because Win7 x64 doesn't support fat16

You need to extract the FAT partition from your NAND backup before xoring. It starts 0x0B930000 bytes in, and runs until the end.

Thanks for this release. I only have one thing to ask the local Python tamers: please, modify the scripts to add a selection for the output: only 3ds, only cia (not implemented at all yet), both. It would be much appreciated.
I have just tested all the new stuff and successfully built .3ds right from Nintendo’s CDN. Magnificent.

Hm, for some reason I can't find ticket.db on my sdcard (and thus can't try this). Is that because I don't have any eShop titles purchased on this system?

Hey guys, so I'm a bit of a moron when it comes to this stuff. I hate to admit it, too, since I'm pretty prolific within this sort of field.

I have a 3DS on 9.2, I have smea's latest exploit operating, and I'm looking to start getting access to the file system of games. I can only imagine that I'm not in for much luck.

I've previously only had people supplying me with data from these games as I've been unable to run the decryption myself. As such, I have no idea what I'm doing and I feel quite shameful (I run a really big sprite archive website...).

Can someone write a step by step set of instructions based on these sets of criteria? Or even if this is possible to run with this exploit. Otherwise, I'll have to just wait out for the gateway update, assuming even that will even allow homebrew.

The farthest you'll get is dumping Cubic Ninja's contents AFAIK.

You are correct here sadly. Games don't have enough access to the AES engine to be able to generate xorpads for games. And Ninjhax gives exactly the same privileges as any game.

Damn, that sucks. Ah well, hopefully after the Gateway update comes out, I'll be able to jump in. Thanks for the information!
