I just RE'd how to program the RGB LED, so I made a calming application that cycles thru' a semi-rainbow slowly :D

That's not what I would call slowly cycling, looks pretty fast to me. Anyway good job on REing the LED and not bricking your 3DS in the process :P

What would this change on a New3DS? The Notification lights?

It changes the same thing on any 3DS system: the RGB LED (aka. notification light in the middle-right part of the system)

The video is 99% irrelevant to the program :P The actual program is somewhat slowly cycling thru' a rainbow :P

Oh I thought it only changed the 3D light which O3DS XL and N3DS dosen't have.

Your QR code is broken.

Just a small request because it'd be interesting to see more options, optional "rave" mode somewhat like the video, the slowly cycling is nice, but what if you decide to turn the lights out and you want a rave? :3

Thanks for making this by the way!

its about time this was made...

since im rlly bored i might make an smdh cos i have to many homebrews without icons lol
and i only just noticed that this can brick a 3ds. time for an uninstall...

As many people have said before and as the featured post says...

"it is safe to use. bricking is nonexistent but you probably shouldn't use this if that is a concern, ..."

Is there a way to make the power LED change color based on the battery left bars?
Like, I dunno,
Greenish blue on 4 bars
Blue on 3 bars
Purple on 2 bars
Red on 1 bar
Blinking on 0 bar
Would be great for Sleep Mode to check how's the battery life without opening the 3DS.

Why just do 4 color options when we can have it cycle through 100 based on actual battery percentage?

*too lazy to quote*

you can only do that via an NTR plugin, or something similar

also, MCUHWC:GetBatteryLevel is %-accurate method of getting the battery level (and it actually returns a percentage, so there's a way to interpolate between the colors accordingly :D)

Now I'm getting hyped!
This one little hack gives a lot of new possibilities, can't wait to see what the community comes up with. I really love the idea presented on Reddit so that everytime you get the sparks hit in Smash Bros the LED blinks Red, or use tricks in Mario Kart 7 to make the LED blink Blue once.

This is like Ambilight for Nintendo 3DS!
