I wonder if this is accessible from within Nintendo's SDK? How cool would it be if someone released a game that used the LED.

Nope, it's not! It's only accessible in their secret copies, not the pulic one.
LED dimming is only accessible in CTRAging and FIRM, so ye...

I had to use CTGP-7 Rainbow Road, because Nintendo doesn't use the kcl ID for glider ramps that I expected. For now, I'll have to deal with known values (used in this track)

I didn't see any LEDs in the video?
yeah me too ...
I do

I watched the video again and saw it. It's when he goes over a jump. Cool!
yeah me too .. it's very strange because even by looking the screen we see the led... huh didn't the video change ?
I've updated the plugin, should be working with any glider pads and boost pads now :)
thanks for the plugin !

plg, I doubt, but cia yes. It's in the first post :P
If no one does it first and I can get the code to compile, in November when the semester is over and I have more free time I'm going to try and get the LED working in freeShop - can be glowing from blue to magenta depending on the download speed, can go red when download suspends due to losing internet connection, and flash pink when a download completes, and be solid pink when everything in the queue finishes
Maybe I won't succeed but it will be fun to try

I can verify that it works in the US version, however it only seems to work in time trial now, it did not work in Grand Prix mode, and I have to imagine that the case would be the same for online, though I did not try it as I'm currently in an area with no wifi.
