That's...kinda heartless. "Poor people don't deserve to play video games!" Granted, I will buy games if I can afford them, and I'm not supporting people who pirate even if they could afford the games, but some people can't just blow money on a game they don't know if they'll like or not, and if it doesn't impress them, that's at most $40-60 wasted.

But whatever, everyone has their views on piracy, and I'm not about to get myself banned from the only native Vita homebrew method there is. I'm just waiting for the emulators to come in.

EDIT: I read the conversation more closely, and yeah, bashing the exploit because it can't do piracy is really stupid. As for other homebrew. I haven't found a homebrew I liked that wasn't emulators, or porting PC games or applications to the console it's on. Most original homebrew games on the PSP always seemed shoddily done to me.

Video games are a luxury, not a necessity. There are some things that everyone deserves such as food, water, a place to rest without danger and so on. Video games are not one of them. If you can't afford it, then you don't get it; that's how the world works (in fact the world is even harsher as some people don't even get good basic living conditions. Tell them about your right to games lol). I want a yacht. I can't afford one. Too bad for me, I just have to suck it up and either earn enough to buy one or forget about it.

Well, ok, that makes sense, I guess. I just hadn't seen the entire conversation at the time and came to the wrong conclusion, but you're right, games are a luxury.

Really tbh my opinion is on this, its a waste of time and very boring to be blunt because he has stated you will never run vita games through this exploit so we can do all this and more with epsp already so whats the point!. To be able to run an N64 game at full fps is nothing special that cannot already be done with say a 3DS, it can virtually be done now with epsp anyway and lets face facts now we are still talking about running N64 games at full fps in 2015!!!

Edit: this is just my opinion by the way and what I think about it so please don't jump on my back, I'm not saying what he has done is not a fantastic achievement for the vita scene but just not exciting enough for me to even be bothered with it and what a complete mess to even get it working in the first place!

Now you know it's not just an "around the corner (kernal access) hack", which you mentioned in the past.

Looks like the PSM Dev app has been pulled from the store. Running the required link (not on a PC) vita only, displays that it is no longer available.

The Charles Proxy PS3 method (and QCMA trick also) works for installing the PSM dev app. I just installed it on my 3.18 PS Vita using Paint Park as the app to redirect to the PSM package file.

well the only thing that the 3ds guy probably didn't understand is that this is a first step , it's not like yifan lu made the Rejuvenate hack to run emulators or pirated games on it , its to show that he succeeded in bypassing the vita's security , in fact its an amazing achievement on the native vita hack scene , all of us should appreciate his hard work he put into making this project a reality , and we have to support him until we finally succeed in running emulators , homebrews , etc.. on it .
i still don't understand why that guy started talking about the 3ds here , i mean come on this is a vita section
