I'm going to be removing Priiloader this week, so I can update to 4.3 and am wondering, does reinstalling the system menu delete game saves?
I'm sure it doesn't, just want to be sure.

Thanks.

Nope it simply reinstalls the menu. frankly just install IOS 80 and then 4.3 to update to 4.3. It's the easiest way to do so without loosing functionality ect.

You don't need to remove Priiloader to update. If you use dop-Mii to update, you can even reinstall Priiloader straight away afterwards, without having to run the Priiloader installer again.

Actually if you update priiloader will be removed no matter how you go about it. System menu is installed it the same slot that preloader is.

No, reinstalling the system menu does not delete games saves. However, there is also no reason to update to 4.3. If you want, you can just use ModMii to update your IOS files without having to update your system menu.

Yes, but dop-Mii backs it up right before installing updated SM, and then reinstalls it right after, without any input from you (well, you have to tell it to keep priiloader).

far enough. I personally never use any automated updaters to update my stuff. I do it by hand because then I know exactly whats being done to my wii.

dop-Mii isn't automated, you choose exactly what to install or not install, exactly what revisions, exactly what patches (in non-WiiBrew Editions) etc.
