Hacking Reinstalling Custome Firmware and Flashing

Hello again!

I bought a second hand Old 3DS XL. As my previous post (on NOOB Thread) says, it has preinstalled B9S, Luma3DS, FBI, Luma3DS Updater, GodMode9, BigBlueMenu. Now, I don't rely on the durability of the SD Card that comes with my 3DS XL, so I bought a new one, and tried to reinstall CFW (including B9S and stuffs). I followed this guide.

However, on the Section IV - Flashing Firm, after running "Steel Diver", I always get an exception notice. It reads:

Processor: ARM11 (core 1)
Exception type: data abort
Fault status: Translation - Page
Current process: menu (004003000008F02)

.....

Press A to save the crash dump
Press any other button to shutdown

May I kindly ask for help regarding this one?

you dont reinstall cfw unless you run the uninstall program. cfw IS NOT something wrote to a sd card but to the inner guts of the 3ds console itself. Skip what your doing and go to the finalizing steps to get the sd card set back up.

Please stop! You don't have to reinstall cfw. B9S is not on the SD but on the console internal NAND. The error you got is a message from the Luma cfw, so you can be sure it is already there.
All you have to do is copy and paste everything from the old SD to the new one (checking the new SD with h2testw before doing this is recommended).

To prepare a new SD from scratch without using anything from the old SD you need to follow the finalizing page of the guide. boot.3dsx must be in the root of your SD.
