Hacking rein on g6 lite

I've tried to search but coulnd't really find any answer.. Can you use REIN on the g6 lite to download and upload saves from/to original carts?

you don't need rein, just hit select on your rom name and you can upload your saves from your original cart

There's a save->game card option as well so yes.
