Hacking Region & Online

I have recently downgraded a to 9.1.0-20J and installed custom firmware.

I have a few EU and US roms, for example SSB. The game is patched to the latest version but for some reason I am unable to play online.

Everytime I attempt to agree to the T&C for online it just goes round in a loop.

The games play correctly otherwise.

Is this because of the region of the CIAs doesn't match the emunand/console region or is it because of the 9.1.0-20 firmware?

Is there a way around this issue?

Yes, recently a tutorial was posted on reddit a few hours ago.

Will doing this end up messing up playing online for games of your own region or just fix others while being able to play your own region games online?

All this seems to do is force the EULA to be agreed. It will probably not mess up games of your own region.

The tutorial helped and it is working fine, thank you.
