Hacking Region Free on 4.0?

On 3.2 I could load a game from any region straight through the disc channel. I believe this was a setting in preloader. Now, on 4.0, only my NTSC games are working. Is there any way to make it region free again? The majority of my games are PAL for some reason..

Also, on a separate matter, I can't get my hard drive to work with the usb loader. It's not the normal error, however. I formatted the drive as a single partition, FAT. When I plug it into my Wii, the USB loader recognizes it, but when it tries to format it, it says that there are four partitions and none of them can be formatted. Any help?

I'm having the same problem as well man, don't think region free is on 4.0 yet.

I changed my hack with that one, and I still can't get region free games to load, only NTSCU games through Disc Channel.

I doubt that there is any help for those of us out there that are having this problem right now.
I have posted this problem in two other threads with no responses coming in.

I have seen at least 5 other people on this forum with the exact same problem, but nobody has been able to solve it.

Yeah, I have that same problem. I guess the values on the hack aren't right.

So far every attempt at it seems to fail. I'm currently still working on it though..... If anyone who happens to know the original values at the addresses for the region checks would like to share I'll be able to speed up the proccess. I could find the hack using a PAL system but I don't want to use ARC right now.....

No StartPatch is basically just like StarFall but to be used on 4.0. The only thing I got to work for me loading every disc no matter the region through Disc Channel in 3.2, was using the Any Region Changer's region free mode, and then installing cIOScorp.

region free with disc region works for me but its hit and miss if a game boots or not best option is gecko os for now
