Homebrew region changing glitch?

I just read on Reddit somewhere that access to eshop is broken on anything lower than 10.0.
Maybe thats it.

i saw that guy who got it to work on reddit and im also on 11.0 now

Doesn't the eshop not work on a region swapped ds unless you have private secureinfo_as? Or did you get a private jpn one...

the guide changed so that you edit the secure info directly

So I fixed it and it's now a japanese regioned 3ds
the problem is- I can't access the eshop now..
whatever :S
btw the error code for eshop is 007-2001

I just downgraded my spare 3ds to JP 11.0 and am having the same problem.

Does your SD card still have any emuNAND partition or folders?
Or did you get rid of emuNAND after a9lh?

These are the only things I found searching that COULD be useful:

"Check, Settings > Profile > Region"

and then this weird looking tut:

"1. Prepare 3 SD cards with emuNAND:

• Card A has EU emuNAND and a European NNID.
• Card B has EU emuNAND and no NNID
• Card C has JP emuNAND and a Japanese NNID

2. Insert card A and open the eShop. (Log in or create an NNID if you haven't yet)
3. Exit emuNAND and switch to card B
4. Open the eShop on card B. It will fail with an error message.
5. Switch your 3DS off
6. Insert card C and it should work fine"

Yes
For me the error I'm getting is that my 3ds is not updated but it is 11.0.

I guess youre just meant to ensure region of your profile matches the region of eshop youre trying to access.
Which if it is, im out of ideas lol

if you want to stay on U, and have J titles, delete the titles in FBI that ends with J, there's a more accurate list, but that's basically How i do my region change 3ds. be it a9lh or good ol mnuhax

I tried to delete the eshop with no nnid befor i did the whole region switch, but it said my serial number was invalid lol

Yes that's what I meant when I said it works great, I was a bit unclear.

If you want to access the EShop you'll need to use Cosmo3DS and AuReiNand (NOT Luma3DS, an older version before the name change), and inject Secureinfo_A and C (I did both, but it may be only one of them) into EmuNAND. You probably won't be able to download though because it had problems with NNID when I tried.

I deleted all the usa titles, formatted then linked a new nnid and deleted it. After another format all using the Japanese system settings it worked. (It didn't work at first because of me not having the latest nightly luma3ds though but that's what I did.)
