is redNAND the only thing that can boot games with fake tickets? I've tried signature patcher as well as the wup server fw.img and neither can boot games with fake tickets. also, is wup server's fw.img considered cfw?

signature patches and fw.img both let you install and play any game including fake ticket games you must be doing something wrong at your end. I use signature patcher and have installed over 150 fake ticket games from all 3 regions and they all work perfectly including Wii vc games that can't be used on Rednand.is redNAND the only thing that can boot games with fake tickets? I don't know but it does work. the clue is in the name of the app ie signature patcher it removes all signatures and lets you install and use any signed or non signed wiiu titles.how can I be doing something wrong when it's as simple as selecting sign patcher in the homebrew channel?
the apps folder. just download it from the homebrew app store and it will place it in the correct place. then boot the SD patcher from homebrew menu.where do u have ur signature patcher located?
it should only say that if you have been into system settings as doing that removes the patcher from memory.mine is in wii-u/apps/sign_patcher/sign_patcher.elf . I even have it booting by holding down the x button. however, it keeps saying the purchaser of this content has been deleted, please redownload.
sorry I really don't know why it's not working for you and you seem to be the only person with this problem I would suggest asking in the official thread for the app here https://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-signature-check-patcher.451138/I haven't been in system settings, so I don't understand what could be going wrong.
