Hacking Recreating GUI - Possible?

If have been bored, and was wonderig if it was possible to edit my GUI on my eziv. Now I believe I found the .dat file to edit which the skinner uses this file to add images to and then you update your flash card.

So, I guess what im asking is does anyone know if this is possible or has anyone tired something like this?

Also what can I edit .bin and .dat files with, and also would anyone be intrested in helping me?

I really liked the R4's GUI and im trying to recreate it and modify the loader of the EZIV.

This looks like a never ending battle in the code.

Yes, I know this, Ive done many skins.

I'm talking about recreating the GUI, as in modifying the overall appearance of where things are located. For example..Modifying the loader to look like the R4's GUI.

Just wondering if it was possible, or if anyone has thought about it.

I don't think that's possible, since the loader is entirely closed source.

I agree with you Verocity, their loader needs a revamp i reckon. i hope eventually one is done whether by the ezteam or an individual such as yourself.

EX your right, but I like the way that OSW put it. It does need a revamp. Or maybe 2 choices like a new loader or the older loader.

Im going to continue messing with some of the files, I believe I can edit it somewhat...ill let yall know.

yeah i like the r4 and m3 gui aswell but i think the ez5 gui is easier to skin and more skinning options but i dont know
