None of the KQ/QfG are text-based, here you can see KQ VI graphics, they're actually really atmospheric when you play it, here are KQ VII's Cartoonish Graphics, and with QfG the graphics improve with each sequel. I recommend QfG 1 or 3, I've played both, and you can play them even without knowing what happened in the previous one, and both are riddled with funny scenes.

EDIT: Fixed the first link.

@Fei: Are Quest for Glory and King's Quest text-based?
Already tried both Elder Scrolls. Dun like :|. My teacher said that Baldur's Gate was good. I'll check that

@myuusmeow
BioShock - will try
Braid - will try too
Garry's Mod - can I use Portal? I'm sure it's a Source game
GTAIV - lol I'll stay away from this
HL2 - already tried
Peggle - lol will try too
PvZ - already have the iPod and PC versions
TF2 - I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to play this game. If I download the game, can I use it with steam?
Torchlight - will check
I agree with most of that list, except GTAIV

you can't pirate any multiplayer games if you wanna use them with steam and dedicated steam servers, but TF2 is pretty cheap, so you might as well pick it up.
also, Half-Life 2 was updated yesterday or the day before (can't recall which) and graphics were improved (textures, shaders, engine updated) and SteamCloud support was added (so now its harder to lose saves!)

Morrowind
Get two saves, one for doing it properly and one for the lulz

Oh that's what it was.
I was wondering why it had a big massive update.

Fallout 1 and 2, if you are tired of the FPS then skip Fallout 3 GOTY for now, but come back to it. Since you mentioned steam, they have a complete pack for $20 that has 1, 2, and the Brotherhood of Steel game.

Just Cause 2
Why not GTA IV?
Can't believe I forgot about JC2! I've gotten like 4 hours just out of the demo, which is like a tiny fraction of a fraction of the whole map and you can only play for 30 minutes before you have to restart. I liked it so much I bought it on Amazon. Can't wait for it to come.

Crap, I too forgot about Just Cause 2... be sure to mod it though, lots of fun to be had if you have like a hundred times the grappling reach... not to mention going at a speed of light...

Depending on how powerful your computer is, you may want to look into getting Shattered Horizons. I myself have not played it, (the computer I use sucks for anything gaming related basically,) but hey, it's looks amazing to me. You could look it up on Youtube or something and decide for yourself.

Already tried GRID and DIRT.
Won't be picking GTAIV soon. Something tells me not to get it

I heard Fallout is good. I'll check that out.
Will check Silent Storm too.
Will go DMC4 and BioShock for now

Planescape: Torment - one of the finest single-player RPGs ever made.

If you decide to play this, YOU NEED TO PLAY IT TO THE VERY END.

It has the best storyline of any game, and a great final battle.

QUOTE(Overwhelming @ May 28 2010, 12:54 PM) Silent Storm

Yes, and Silent Storm: Sentinels.

Both are great if you are into turn-based strategy.
