I have 10 days to have fun before school.

Recommend me a PC game except for the following

•ACII
•CoD:MW2
•BF:BC2
•Dragon Age Origins

Already played the upper three. I don't like Dragon Age either.

May be any genre

I need to play Deus Ex. I heard it was awesome. Anyway, have you played one of the Anno games? The most recent one is Anno 1404 (2009).
EDIT: Whoops, got the games mixed up. Anno 1404 is the most recent.

Try Crysis, if your computer can take it...
Other than that, Line Rider 2: Unbound, just for teh lulz.
My PC can run latest games at max settings

Counter Strike: Source. Fable 1, Combat Arms...

If GoldenEye 007 or Perfect Dark has Online + Custom Maps will be THE BEST FPS GAME OF EVER!!!!!!
This. Is there any PC game like GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, or the TimeSplitters games. I want a game like that on my PC so bad

Quest for Glory is really awesome RPG/adventure series, or if you'd like a pure adventure without the RPG features go for King's Quest, I recommend 6 which is hilarious and serious at the same time, and 7 if you'd like a more cartoonish graphics with two heroines. You can get speech packs for both.

Baldur's Gate and Morrowind or Oblivion also really rock (although Oblivion has a weird mechanic that items and creatures level up with you, but there's a mod which gets rid of that), they're good RPGs.

And my most favourite PC game (along with QfG and KQ) is Final Fantasy VIII. I really recommend, it's so special, and in my opinion it's different from the other Final Fantasies, especially because you draw magic from enemies and the storyline felt really good to me, quite non-typical when compared to the other ones. Cool FMV sequences too, and a card game if you're interested + a chocobo mini-game.

Some of my favorite PC games:
BioShock
Braid (awesome platform puzzler)
Dawn of Discovery (Anno 1404 in every country but US)
Garry's Mod (requires a Source game like HL2, TF2, etc)
Grand Theft Auto 4
Half-Life 2 with Episodes (recently updated with better graphics and achievements!)
Peggle series (lots of fun)
Plants vs. Zombies (tower defense)
Team Fortress 2
Torchlight (Diablo esque)

@Fei: Are Quest for Glory and King's Quest text-based?
Already tried both Elder Scrolls. Dun like :|. My teacher said that Baldur's Gate was good. I'll check that

@myuusmeow
BioShock - will try
Braid - will try too
Garry's Mod - can I use Portal? I'm sure it's a Source game
GTAIV - lol I'll stay away from this
HL2 - already tried
Peggle - lol will try too
PvZ - already have the iPod and PC versions
TF2 - I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to play this game. If I download the game, can I use it with steam?
Torchlight - will check
