Hey everyone, I recently received a mariko switch with a mod chip already installed I don’t know what brand mod chip but hey it’s cool i got it for free. I tried preparing the sd card but every time I insert it in this switch i get the message “missing boot.dat”. I’m trying to figure out what exactly am I missing?

boot.dat was used by all modchips build by Team Xecuter and subsequent clones.
They are often referred to as 'SXOS'.

If you open up your Switch back cover, you can see if they put in a real modchip or if this one used only the dongle (payload injector) that was tied to that boot.dat file.

There have been threads here how to prepare such a boot.dat file and also how to convert the 'real' modchip to the nx-spacecraft open source version of SXOS.
