Gaming really want a torchic with speed boost

I would really be greatful if someone could breed/trade me a torchic with the ability speed boost ( which is being distributed to Pokemon X and Y owners )

OK before anyone even tries to do that (thank you if thought you would ) I just got my alpha sapphire for Christmas so I don't have any of the patches and my 3ds is in 9.2 firmware.

If its possible to trade over the internet please do guide me on how to do so (keeping in mind the lack of patches )

Edit : if it is possible to breed a torchic with speed boost , without the need of the event torchic( the one being distributed to X and Y) please do post the process.

Are you available to come online (on any 6th gen Pokemon game) to trade? As unless you have an R4 card (or whatever they are called these days), you can't trade over the internet via anything but GTS.

You have a few options.

1) find a friend that has an updated console and use their console to trade for what you want on here
2) buy a powersaves and get one yourself
3) find a friend who has one that will trade with you locally (you can still trade locally without the update. I did it just last night)

If you have only one 3ds and no friends with 3ds, then powersaves is probably going to be your best bet. If you have multiple 3ds or multiple friends with 3ds, then you have a lot more options

powersaves is kind of like a gameshark/game genie/action replay. Sort of. You can't put in codes manually, but they have a pool of cheats you can use. One of which is to generate any event pokemon, which is exactly what you're wanting.

Cost about 20 bucks here in the states (when I bought one). Not sure about elsewhere.

I guess i can't do any of the choices.

You see its extremely rare to find people who own a 3ds in my country as they are all imported and very expensive ( like 2.5 time the cost in USA )

But thank you for the suggestions.
I'll think hard about updating my firmware to the newest one for this torchic.

You can always wait for gateway to come out with their update. Which is always coming "soon". And powersaves is really good (you should google it to see what else it can do).

And you should see if there are any pokemon meetups in your area. Pokemon cards, tournaments, etc, happen most everywhere, even at smaller levels. Even those places that just do the cards will have people with the game. Maybe you could find someone at something like that?

Oh and yes you can breed event pokes if they aren't legendaries.

But it seems that it's not possible without updating my firmware.
I plan to buy an nds flash cart in the near future and then I will use emunand to download the Pokemon patches.
But this will take some time.
I hope that all of you will kindly be patient with me.

You should still be able to go online without having the latest update on your 3ds. Also, as of gen 6, male pokes can also pass their Hidden-Ability to its offspring when bred with dittos.

I did try to connect to the gts but I get the error message saying that I need the updated version of the game.
