hiya all you GBAtempers

i was crious if in the next AKAIO can have real time guide or is that to high for the hardware on the ak2i

I wish, but AKAIO doesn't have any future plans for that feature

Not going to happen. AKAIO wiki clearly states that things like rts and rtg won't be implemented by them unless the official team does it.

Alternatively you can play the game, save, soft-reset, open a .txt with the walkthrough, read it, and boot the game. Then repeat when you are stuck.

not gonna help in mario and lugie bowsers insdie story save points mad as wel just put it on my laptop and keep it on my lap lol i mean netbook lol why would they make it even if team aceakrd dosnt wouldnt they wanna make it better then the real firmware?

RTG is completely pointless. Why all the necessary software programming, when you can just put text files on your mobile phone and view them when you need them.

im just gonna use my laptop i have no cell but rts isnt point less mabe if the acekard team put it akaio will

Just get a second card that supports RTS and RTG. Almost every card now has these features. Even R4 clones have them. I use my Acekard most of the time and when I need RTS I use something else.

Or just play the game.

I think having walkthroughs for games is stupid. Why play the game if you just read how to complete it?

Wow!

Because not everyone is a genius like you.

You don't need to be a genious to beat DS games, usually designed for children under the age of 12

... Or games like Knights in the Nightmare? It has its own guide in game!

I believe walkthroughs aren't used to finish a game more than it is used to COMPLETE a game. I mean 100% it. I only cheat if I believe the gameplay mechanics are broken or if it would mean less touchscreen use.

btw, Boxshot's suggestion is moot when akAIO doesn't open txt files as easily before. If you are talking about akAIO only, that is.

... But is it even possible to implement rtg on existing ak hardware? i'd rather have that first than rts.

I think it could be possible but the code that they use from Acekard is a mess from what I understand which is why the two/three that work on AKAIO just don't want to do it themselves.

Sorry, haven't been playing the Imagine! series too much.
What part of usually does nobody understand?

And the majority of games are for children of the age 12 and below.
