Homebrew RCT2/OPENRCT2?

I was wondering if a homebrew version would be possible or if there's an emulator to use for it. I'm sure the 3DS is plenty powerful enough for it. What do you guys think?

The most we had was something of a controversial subject regarding a project that claimed to be either a port of it or an original piece of homebrew software using the OPENRCT2 assets (it's been a while.) Whether it's possible or not is not something I have the knowledge to discuss, though.

It was a subject of controversy because the "developer" was lying about the project and used Photoshopped images as "screenshots".

I don't get why people feel the need to do something like that. That's fucking ridiculous.
