RCM mode

i recently got a switch and the guide for homebrew and such says i need or it would be preferable to get an RCM jig but i forgot to buy one and i'm pretty broke at the moment, is there another way to enter RCM? and aside from that i had a few other questions

You need to connect pin 1 to pin 10 on the joycon connector (on the Switch) to enter the RCM mode.

Maybe first check if you Switch is unpatched. If it is patched, you can't run CFW anyway so no need for a jig.

MacGuyver would like to recommend a paperclip. If you have steady hands and be carefull, that does actually work.
But a jig goes for a dollar on Aliexpress (if you can wait that long)
On Amazon they are also just a few dollars.
You could ask someone with a 3Dprinter to print one.
For injecting the payload you can use a PC or Rekado on a Android phone (with USB-OTG).
