They were actually figured out a week or so after we made that video. Word Up! worked just because Lego Rock Band already had lipsync animations on the disc. Now, yes, RB1 songs can have lipsync. Maybe GHWT+ too, depending on how Magma can cope with the crappy guitar hero tracks... Someone might have to take the time to record them singing each song themselves for that kind of lipsync.

I have another question, is it possible to import GH:WT DLC with RawkSD? I have extracted a song and it's a bik file and a bunch of .pak.ngc files now.

No. Although I have a theory on how to get the Death Magnetic songs in.

Er, we recently found out that Magma doesn't like dry vox that doesn't have a chart for it. To turn those into valid lipsync someone will have to "chart vocals" for the songs as well >.>
I say "chart vocals" because it can be absolute crap and not pitched at all, just open up your dryvox in Reaper and draw vocal notes wherever you see the audio peak and all that. Lyrics might have to be done too though :/

So with regards to a vocals part, if I understand AerialX correctly... despite having Magma, a proper vocal midi note chart still has to be charted in Reaper before any lipsync can be done?

i heard the new rawksd isn't out yet because they're having trouble figuring out waffle maker support (usb waffle maker? you get waffles if you get gold stars on a song? not sure how its supposed to work yet)

I have some dlc download from ntsc game, but I can't play this dlc with Pal version dvd. Can I make this with the new rawk?

That will be possible only if they release a version of RawkUSB (or how they call it) for PAL Rockband 2... (There are a rawksd PAL beta, but hasn't Disk direct dump support; the next beta may haven´t the waffle maker...)

RawkSD has nothing to do with DLC, although the new version's USB support should include all extraneously-stored songs, DLC or custom. However, the PAL/NTSC issue is a problem with your shop region - Rock Band 2 will only update with songs it has in the console-shop-region's store. RawkSD can't magically change that, and I doubt there are any plans to support it.

Install DLC as customs, I guess xD
If they make this PAL user will can play every dlc songs, as them are installed as customs nobody cares about the region of the wii...

When I launch the patch, there is an "exception (DSI) occured". Can you explain why and what I have to do to avoid the exception ?

My configuration :
- wii 4.2E
- softmod with ios 38 rev 14
- installed ios37 on 232 to run the backup (which works and detects usb instruments)

I have read that I need to install a patched ios37, but how ? I am a newbie and I don't know where I can find this ios37 already patched.
Do I have to build it with the ios37 and the patch rawkSD apps ? how ?

Try using the patched included in this download instead. Use the main app from that package if you have a PAL version of the game.
If you don't have the real disc, this is useless to you.

Many people enjoy the rawksd performance, so give us, at least, an idea of time.
