Hacking Rawdump 2.0 works fine with GDR8164B

I just came back from my computer store with an Hitachi/LG 8164B DVD Drive, i'm ripping Red Steel for the wii now with RawDump 2.0

I asked the guy if he can give me some discount if i buy more drives from him and it was no problem.
Are more people interested in this dvd drive? i dont know how hard it is to find it in other countries?

A game can be burned with any dvd burner correct? But if I want to dump/rip a game I need any LG dvd drive correct?

Yes, as long as it's a LG 8614b drive from your link. The letter after first b is just the color code of the drive.
