I'm not exactly hopeful for a localizations and its certainly nothing I'd personally pick up instantly. If I pirated for the system I'd get it in a heartbeat.

This game sucks imo...it's like a gimp'ed version of PSO / MH for me. controls not clunky but it's a little awkward...demo is up on JP store if you want to try it out.

This looks like the result of "HD", "Monster Hunter", "Dragon Quest Slime" and "Ragnarok" foursome, how does this not validate a purchase? I am dissapoint in you.

The music sounds nice too, definatelly my sort of game.

less like MH , its like they only really took some menu like stuff from it like the ranks/quest hub setup/hp/stamina bar but the rest is flat out PSO...and it looks less apealing after the demo

Oh no, definatelly not. Monster Hunter is one of those games where you play Single Player to learn the ropes and test stuff out and then immediatelly turn on Multi since Single Player gameplay is mundane, sometimes even boring and definatelly frustrating.

Seeing that this looks like Monster Hunter crossed with the more fast-paced Phantasy Star and more "complex" Ragnarok (as far as stats go) it may have fixed many issues with this type of gameplay. It's not a "unique" approach to the style like Lord of Arcana, but it's definatelly worth a try. I also like the general graphics style.

They plan to release an update to have online play. but i still think this game isn't that great.

Well i liked playing the MMO and it was my 1st one. I really loved playing it so i think i'll like this as well.

I have it and tried it out on my friend's Vita, it's can get really hard, really fast, button mashing will get you killed 9/10, bosses are great and quests are ok, this will be 100x better when online is up though. I reccommend if you are getting this wait until a week before the online patch is released.

In monster hunter, you CAN'T LOCK ON TO A TARGET. that's what makes the gameplay more engaging.
no crosshairs whatsoever.

thats probably a better comparison (God Eater) though after playing the demo im still not super impressed, which sucks because having a PSO/GE/MH game right away on the vita to convince my buddys to get would have been awesome. For now we will stick to a mostly english patched MHP3rd.

I'm going to guess no unless it's the USA version or you tie a different, Japanese account to your Vita.
