Rage of the Gladiator To Support Motion+
First title to do support it so far
People may remember me posting news about a game called "Rage of the Gladiator" a few months back. The game was pretty much a fantasy/gladiator arena style version of Punch-Out but with weapons & finishing moves.

There was some bitching that it was going to be played WITHOUT motion controls. Well Ghostfire Games have listened to gamers complaints and as well as adding standard motion controls, they have added Motion Plus too making it the first WiiWare title to support the add on.

Like most WiiWare titles there is no release date but Ghostfire expect the game to appear on the service sometime this year.

Im starting to think this WiiMotion + stuff is to dwindle piracy down slightly...Red Steel 2 and Wii Sports 2???...yes....very much needed....but this game really could do fine with normal motion...

cause they know not EVERYONE will buy a wiiMotion + (im one of the goddamn statics at the moment

)

EDIT - WTF..

the violence with the "punching" sound effects with the AXE is lame!!

make us happy and make it "Mature"!!!!

They made a good decision. These sort of games that require swing motions would always be better with accurate-reading-hardwares.

You can have normal controls in this game too, you don't need the Motion+.
