After fiddling to death with the GIMP, I've finally managed to create something close to a good userbar!

Perfect, I like how you kept the symbol yellow, rather than blending it totally!! It looks great to me!!

try using the ctrl + t and the ctrl + resize to kinda make it look non-stiff...
It looks like your person is standing in an angle but the biohazard sign is facing forward.
