Is there a way to make a homebrew application that let you hear music from a internet radio?

Here is a explanation:

It makes a connection to a internet radio (like www.noisefm.ru) and plays all music. You gotta edit 1 file with the url of your favorite internet radio and streams the music straight to your 3ds
A CIA version would also be nice.

Why not a radio on your 3ds playing Electro, EDM and Dubstep all day long:yay:

Sorry for my bad English

Still trying to improve it

I'm not sure about the one you linked to, but most of the streaming radio services don't allow 3rd party clients for licensing reasons. Another thing is streaming audio in is quite difficult to get right on hardware like the 3DS.

Possible, sure. It should even be doable through the web browser on the n3DS if using a HTML5 player.
Do you know a guy that would be able to make a homebrew like this?

I don't know, anyone with programming experience I guess.
You could try this if you have a n3DS: http://www.radioforge.com/

Your image doesn't work, by the way.
My image did work but when I refreshed my page it didnt work anymore.
What is radioforge.com?

In fact, long ago I used to listen streaming radio with a DS homebrew (from a very crappy way, indeed). But, I don't remember how was named!... Then, very possible and interesting a streaming radio app for 3ds!

Edit: This app, I guess: http://gamebrew.org/wiki/Dissonance

I'd love to see a Shortwave radio homebrew app on the 3DS, if it's possible.
Do you refer to listen a conventional (broadcasted through the air) radio frequency? I don't think so!... Only streaming radio (from Internet).

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
