Its compatible with higher Versions of devkitARM, but after the PAlib Installation you must execute /devkitPro/PAlib/source/clean.bat and then /devkitPro/PAlib/source/build.bat this recompiles PAlib to use with newer Versions of devkitARM. I've tested this with r28 or higher (i think r29)

It's very simple to do this oO

1. DLDI Patch R4Menu for any cart
2. Encrypt it with r4crypt or r4denc
3. Decrypt Wood R4 (or compile it and use the akmenu4_r4.nds)
4. Set Wood R4 as Loader in the R4Menu Properties

i want to run wood r4 in my DSTWO only for "wii conectivity" with the PBR (Pokemon battle revolution)

This is on my R4 now. It's actually a lot better than the real R4 menu, because now I can choose between YSMenu, DSision2 and GBA Exploader. I have one problem though, homebrews using FAT don't work from DSision, but they do from YSMenu. I don't know why this would happen, because they worked fine when DSision was the menu.

Spinal (if you're reading this), are there any plans to update this? There's so much more that can be added (that were in the original R4 menu).

I has a bug to report.

Using my Acekard 2i (DLDI-patched, using it as akmenu4.nds), it takes much longer to load on a DSi compared to a DS or a DS lite. I think it has something to do with the missing Slot-2.

All of my stiff does that. I'm sure it has something to do with the outdated dev tools I'm using. It's not the loading that is the problem, its the FAT init.

ew.

and anyway, cool. good job

Wow, I forgot about this. Great tool Xenon++. Does it work on all libfat homebrew or just r4menu?
R4Menu/DSCovered/DSision1
Somehow another disc driver is used in DSision2 so it cannot be patched

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
