Hacking R4infinity need help

Hello I'm new to posting on gba so sorry if this has already been answered but I have a few questions to who ever knows about the r4infinity card I would like to know if I could use another firmware on this card not only that but I need to know if download play is supported on it I have spent countless hours researching on anything for this card all I could find were old threads with no answers so please help me out if u can

The firmware doesn't run. There is a permanent white screen when I run R4.

you have this exact r4 infinity, right?

confirm if the original kernel at least works (it will be terrible, bad game compatibility, but it will confirm if it at least works)

The R4 is the same. Not even this firmware works, infinite white screen. At this point I think it's broken, although I don't know how that's possible. I remember I tried to update the firmware, could it be that by putting in the wrong one it got ruined?

if the firmware update failed and bricked it, it might be possible to reflash it using another flashcart, if you have one

with any luck, it could be possible to run the firmware update file on another flashcart, then swap the card to the broken one, and then press A to begin the flashing

but it's also possible that the updater will detect an incompatible card when you run it, and it wont even let you swap out the cards to the bricked one

(ignore the black lines on that person's screen, I'm pretty sure the screens on their ds lite are just damaged. but it's the same symptom of hanging on a white screen)
