Hacking R4i3d 2013 firmware/kernel

Does anyone have the r4 files / firmware? I've tried several and it always stays in the loading screen..

I tested it on my dsi 1.45

I don´t know if your Flashcart works on actual DS/3DS consoles.Depends on the Firmware from your console.

Dang man your card is in terrible shape and it’s super outdated, you should replace it with the R4i Gold 3DS from nds-card.com, it’s up to date and affordable.

hello all, im new and was wondering if anyone could please help me out. i have a card that looks just like the one above however, it doesnt say 2013. it says, R4i 3D new 3DS wifi. the website on the face of the card has been shut down.

Does anyone have firmware for my card? If so that would be awesome! The 2013 version firmware someone shared above, works for my card. however, i cant launch my pokemon black and white 2 roms. i tried changing the setting and the in game reset option. however, my issue isnt the white screen, instead it just says loading but never loads. other games work great on the card.

Help would be appreciated,

ok, so im following up here. I went on wayback achieve and actually found my kernel under one of the saves of the site from year 2012. Now everything Works! YAY. Here the rar file/firmware for those needing it. You need to open the folder once you decmpressed it, and move each folder and file from that folder to the root of the sd card. That and you need to make a "games" folder with your nds roms.

Bro, I have the same exact R4 card as u but every time I use it on my Dsi xl, it says” an error has occurred” (btw my card is a couple years old)

so I tried to download your files and put it in my sd card where I used it on the same R4 but the same error showed.

It would be appreciated if u can be more specific on how I should put the files on the sd card because that is where I probably messed up.

The Reason is maybe,your DSi XL is in Software Version 1.4.5x
This "old" Flashcard is blocked by the DSi Firmware/System Software.

Unfortunately,you can not use it anymore this Way.


Options (maybe):

- can be (maybe) used on an (New) 2DS/3DS (modded / unmodded)
- can be (maybe) used with TWiLight Menu installed on it on the DSi XL:

- can be used on an modded DSi (XL) with TWiLight Menu installed as Menu Replacement.
- can be still used without Changes on an DS / DS Lite.
