Hacking R4i SDHC white screen

Hi all I was given a R4i SDHC and im trying to get it to work on a dsi firmaware 1.4A but i cant. i launch the Game and all i get is a white screen and it just stayes like that. im using the latest kernal off there webside 1.76b http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp

Yep formatted before install and I'm pretty sure its right from the information on the website

Fixed it changed the date to 2013 and it worked fine. weird
